About me

Due to the disruptive change in technology, namely the internet, it is up to artists, labels, social media specialists, software architects, marketing strategists, consumers & fans and many others to work on a bottom-up approach.
There’s no one-size-fits-all business model. Your business has to be customised to fit your music, your service, your product. Not vice versa.
Based on these principles, I strongly pay attention to only recommend and advise methods and guidelines that I support and apply myself.
Therefore, top goal is to make each customer as well as my own work a case study of the fact that new business models actually do work. This includes free strategies, freemium models, connect-to-fan strategies as well as crowdsourcing.
Myself, I enjoyed a good 10 years experience at software providers for media industries. Expertise in marketing & project management, in creative & coding tasks allows for an extensive and 360° view. How software compares to music you might read in another article.
In the past, I’ve been in charge of marketing project management in organising presences at trade shows (IBC/Amsterdam and NAB/Las Vegas). Later on, I was responsible for software implementation projects at German broadcasters.
In 2008, I successfully led a content management project to provide an intranet solution serving 20k users at a globally acting customer.
By 2009, I changed my focus to music industries. Projects include working with Amanda Palmer (Boston/USA), Georgia Wonder (London/UK), Wolfram Huschke (Hamburg) and Spreewind (Berlin). Also, I am actively involved in German grassroots convention all2gethernow (curating, moderating, music management).
